APPLES BAKED WITH FENNEL
2 TB raisins
2 TB walnuts
¾ tsp fennel
½ cup water
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Core the apples, and place them in a baking dish.
Combine the raisins, walnuts and fennel. Divide the mixture into six even portions.
Stuff the mixture into the apples.
Top each apple with a dusting of cinnamon, a drizzle of honey and pat of butter.
Pour water into the pan around the apples.
Bake for 1 hour, or until the apples offer no resistance when poked with a fork.
